I had to make this for a youth activity this weekend. It is SO good and super easy.
ICE CREAM SANDWICH DESSERT
2 - 12 count boxes of ice cream sandwiches
1 - 16oz bottle of hot fudge
1 - 8 oz container of Cool Whip
{don't let my pictures deceive you, I made 2 recipes of this!}
Layer 12 ice cream sandwiches in bottom of 9x13 pan.
Spread thin layer of hot fudge {cold} over ice cream sandwiches. Use about 1/2 of bottle.
Spread a thin layer of cool whip over the hot fudge. {it doesn't need to look pretty, you are going to cover it all up!}
Next, layer another layer of 12 ice cream sandwiches over cool whip....add another layer of hot fudge and then another layer of cool whip.
Put back in freezer for 30-60 minute to firm up and freeze. Can be made several days ahead of time, stores well. ENJOY!
Was this Michelle's recipe from the dinner with Sister Dibb? I wanted that recipe!
ReplyDeleteYes, this is the dessert we served at the dinner! It is Michelle's recipe, I think. {she is the one that suggested it!}
