The BEST chocolate sauce EVER!

Ok...really this started out to be a Chocolate Turtle Cake....hmmmm....well it didn't turn out, but what we got was the BEST chocolate sauce I've ever eaten...so here's what we did.

Mix together the following:

Chocolate Cake Mix
1 C melted butter
1 C water
1 C Brown Sugar

Mix until all combined and well mixed (2 minutes).

Then add 10 oz package of Mini Marshmallows. Pour batter into dutch oven. Cover Batter with 1 pkg carmels (removed from wrappers, obviously).

Let cook over LOW heat (4 coals on bottom 6 coals on top) for 30-40 minutes. It should start to look like this.

When finished cooking, mix well with a spoon. You will be removing all the air from the marshmallows so it will mix into a yummy, thick chocolate sauce. We served it over ice cream! It was delicious!!!!!

Dutch Oven Chocolate Cake

One of our family favorites. Jason specifically requested this for his graduation dessert. Our recipe is for a 12" dutch oven, and I just put the whole dutch oven inside my oven to cook it. You can make charcoal and cook it outside and it's just as yummy!!

Make 2 Chocolate Cake mixes according to pkg. Dump into oiled dutch oven.

Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. (I baked mine at 325 for about the same time, but I think my oven cooks a little hot)

When cake is done, remove from oven, but leave in dutch oven. Poke holes in cake with a skewer or straw. (I like the holes the straw makes) Pour ALL of the following over hot cake. Make sure most of the toppings go into the holes and not all down the outside or pooled into the middle.

1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Bottle Carmel Sauce (regular ice cream topping size)
1 Bottle Hot Fudge

Let cake cool completely. Top cake with 8-12oz of Cool Whip (depending on how much you want)
Sprinkle with toffee bits or any crushed candy bar you choose.
(I also added blue sprinkles to this cake for the graduation party)

ENJOY! (and I promise you will!!!)
